Shelter Module

Led by our Canadian members of the Canadian National of Women’s Shelters and Transition Houses, we worked on the Shelter Module, part of the UN-Women-Virtual Knowledge Centre to End Violence Against Women and Girls. This Shelter module is available in 65 languages, and consists of chapters like: Guiding Principles, Planning and Design, Implementation and Monitoring and Evaluation. It gives a lot of examples of good practices and also practical advice about different aspects of shelter work, useful for shelters in different stages of development.

The Shelter module is available on the site of the UN Virtual Knowledge Centre to end violence against women and girls.
