The Friends of the GNWS share our vision for an equal world where women and their children live free from violence, and our purpose is to unite the women’s shelter movement globally to end violence against women and their children.

- Supports and advocates for shelter networks to end violence against women and children, and promote safer, fairer societies.
- Maintains and improves Lila.help, and connects victims of gender-based violence to verified crisis services worldwide through global outreach efforts.
